Crab Spread Recipe
There's not a single being who will be able to eat just one, is what I guarantee for this Crab Spread. Stock up on plenty of bags of Seafood as you will want to make this Crab Spread time and again. I prepare this yum Crab Spread as a Side Dish every month or even more often. Just try it once, and you'll no doubt want to prepare this for your friends again.
Ingredients
1 pkg. cream cheese, room temperature
1/2 cup dairy sour cream or plain yogurt
1 green onion, minced
1 tablespoon minced pimiento, drained
1 tablespoon pickle relish, drained
1 pkg. crab, drained, flaked
1/2 cup chili sauce
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Directions
In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and sour cream or yogurt until smooth.
Stir in onion, pimiento and pickle relish.
On a platter, shape mixture into a flat mound about 1 inch high.
Refrigerate 2 hours.
Before serving, sprinkle crab over cheese mixture.
In a small bowl, combine chili sauce and Worcestershire sauce.
Pour over crab.
Variation Substitute 6 ounces cooked chopped shrimp for the crab.
Stir in onion, pimiento and pickle relish.
