1 tablespoon dry mustard
 
3 tablespoons dry white wine
 
1 clove garlic, finely minced
 
1/2 cup olive or other salad oil
 
1/4 teaspoon salt
 
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
 
1 tablespoon lemon juice
 
1 tablespoon finely snipped fresh dill
 
2 cups fresh or frozen crab meat, picked over well

Directions

Mix the mustard with the wine, add the garlic and allow to stand at room temperature ten minutes.
Add the oil very slowly to the mustard mixture while beating vigorously by hand or electric mixer.
Beat in the salt, pepper and lemon juice and then the dill.
Add the crabmeat and marinate in the refrigerator one hour.
