Crab Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
| Mushrooms | 1/2 pound, sliced | |
| Butter | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Flour | 2 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Chicken broth | 5 Ounce | |
| Light cream | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | 1 | |
| Crab meat | 1/2 pound | |
| Buttered crumbs | ||
| Grated American cheese | ||
Directions
Saute mushrooms in 1 tablespoon butter for 3 minutes; set aside.
In saucepan melt 3 tablespoons butter.
Blend in flour.
Add chicken broth, cream, salt, and pepper; cook until thickened.
In 1 quart casserole arrange alternate layers of mushrooms, sauce, and crab meat.
Sprinkle with buttered crumbs and cheese.
Place in 350°F toaster oven; bake about 25 minutes.
