Traditional Crab Bisque Recipe

This crab bisque recipe is a savory and creamy bisque made with veggies and mushrooms. Flavored with minced parsley and cayenne pepper, the creamy crab bisque is pepped up with the added tomatoes and mushrooms.

Ingredients

 
1 medium onion, diced
 
1/2 green pepper, diced
 
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
 
1/4 pound mushrooms, sliced
 
2 tomatoes, diced
 
1 pound crab meat
 
1 teaspoon salt
 
Dash of cayenne
 
1 1/2 cups cream
 
1 tablespoon minced parsley

Directions

In medium skillet saute onion and pepper in melted butter until onion is transparent.
Add mushrooms; cook 3 minutes.
Stir in tomatoes; cook 3 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients; heat to boil, but do not boil.
Add more parsley for garnish if desired.
