Crab With Pasta Recipe

Ingredients
1 pound flaked crab meat
1/4 cup dry sherry
1 cup minced celery
3/4 cup minced onion
1/2 cup minced bell pepper
3 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon unbleached flour
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
2 cups half-and-half cream or milk
1/4 cup small seashell pasta, cooked al dente
Salt and white pepper to taste
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Whipped cream
Minced fresh parsley
Freshly ground pepper
Directions
Combine crab and sherry and marinate at least 1 hour.
Saute celery, onion and bell pepper in butter until vegetables are tender.
Sprinkle with flour, sugar and chili; cook and stir 3 minutes.
Gradually add cream; cook and stir until smooth and slightly thickened.
Add crab and sherry and pasta.
Reheat without boiling and add Worcestershire sauce, salt and white pepper.
Garnish with dollops of whipped cream and minced parsley.
