Crab Spread Recipe
Ingredients
| 1/4 cup Yogurt Cream Cheese | ||
| 2 tablespoons nonfat plain yogurt | ||
| 2 tablespoons nonfat cottage cheese | ||
| Lemon juice | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Pimiento | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Capers | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Horseradish | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Green onion | 1 , chopped | |
| 3 oz. cooked crab | ||
| Dill weed to taste | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1. Chop fresh or dried fruits and add to yogurt.
2. Add spices or herbs as desired.
3. Add maple syrup or fruit syrup or honey to taste and mix yogurt cream cheese well. Keep aside.
MAKING
4. Take a small bowl, add yogurt, lemon juice and cottage cheese to yogurt cream cheese and blend well.
5. Add rest of the ingredients and stir well.
6. Cover and place in the refrigerate to chill till served.
SERVING
5. Serve along with toasted crackers or pita wedges.
