Crab Meat Bechamel Recipe
Ingredients
1 can (10 1/2 ounces) chicken broth
1 small onion, sliced
1/8 teaspoon thyme
Dash nutmeg
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup cream
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 can (13 ounces) crab meat (2 cups cooked)
Dash Tabasco
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
4 patty shells
Directions
In a saucepan, combine chicken broth with onion, thyme and nutmeg and simmer for 15 minutes.
Strain.
If necessary, add water to make 1 cup.
