Crab In Avocado Halves Recipe
Ingredients
| Crab meat | 6 Ounce, drained | |
| Egg yolk | 1 | |
| Lime juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Curry powder | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
| 1/4 cup ice cold butter | ||
| 2 avocados Fresh lime juice | ||
| Corn flakes | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), crushed | |
| Melted butter | 1 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Heat oven to 400 degrees.
Break up crab meat with a fork.
Stir egg yolk and 1 tbsp.lime juice together in a small saucepan.
Stir in salt, curry powder and pepper.
Add half of butter.
Set over lowest heat and stir constantly until butter is melted.
Add remaining butter and stir again over lowest heat until sauce is blended and thickened.
Add to crab meat and blend lightly with a fork.
Cut avocados in halves length wise.
Remove seeds.
Brush cut surfaces with lime juice.
Put in shallow baking dish, cut side up.
Fill with crab mixture.
Combine corn flakes and melted butter and sprinkle over.
Bake 15 minutes.
