Crab Gumbo Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Butter | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Tomatoes | 1 16 Ounce, chopped | |
| Tomato sauce | 1 8 Ounce | |
| Chicken broth | 1 13 3/4 Ounce | |
| Sugar | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 | |
| Bay Leaf | 1 | |
| Okra | 1 15 1/2 Ounce, drained | |
| 1 7 1/2-oz. can crab meat, drained, chopped and coarse parts removed | ||
| Hot cooked rice | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
In large saucepan, saute" onion in butter until tender; add tomatoes, tomato sauce, broth, sugar, pepper, and bay leaf.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer uncovered about 30 minutes.
Remove bay leaf; add okra and crab; heat through
