Country Style Chicken Bake Recipe
Ingredients
| 3 pound frying chicken, cut in serving pieces | ||
| Regular | 5 Tablespoon | |
| 1/2 cup Land O'Lakes Butter | ||
| Onion | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Celery | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1/2 teaspoon monosodium glutamate, if desired | ||
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Chicken bouillon cubes | 4 | |
| Boiling water | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Coat chicken with 1/4 cup flour.
Place 1/4 cup butter and chicken in 3-quart casserole.
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
Saute onion and celery in 1/4 cup butter until tender.
Blend in 1 tablespoon flour, salt, monosodium glutamate and pepper.
Place around chicken.
Spoon Topping over casserole.
Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water.
Pour broth over Topping.
Bake for 30 to 40 minutes until golden brown.
Place 1/4 cup butter and chicken in 3-quart casserole.
