Country Style Ribs Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 racks (3 1/4 pounds) country-style pork spare ribs, trimmed | ||
| 1 1/2 cups reduced- sodium ketchup | ||
| Worcestershire sauce | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Brown sugar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 2 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard | ||
| Black pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Red cayenne pepper | 1 Pinch | |
Directions
1. Preheat the grill or broiler. Place the ribs in a 6-quart Dutch oven, add enough cold water to cover, and bring to a boil over high heat. Lower the heat and simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Using tongs, transfer the ribs to paper towels.
2. To prepare the sauce: In a small saucepan, stir together the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil over moderate heat. Lower the heat and simmer, uncovered, for 1 minute.
3. Grill the ribs directly over medium-hot coals or broil 4 inches from the heat for 15 minutes, turning and brushing with the sauce every 5 minutes or until the ribs are glazed. Serve with Sunshine Salad.
