Country Style Ribs Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 pounds country-style pork ribs, cut in serving-size pieces | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), crushed | |
| Catsup | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Chili Sauce | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Brown sugar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Prepared mustard | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Celery seed | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Dash bottled hot pepper sauce | ||
| 3 thin lemon slices | ||
Directions
Simmer ribs, covered, in salted water to cover, about 1 hour.
In saucepan, melt butter; add garlic and cook 5 minutes.
Add catsup, chili sauce, brown sugar, onion, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, celery seed, salt, bottled hot pepper sauce, and lemon slices.
Bring to boil.
Drain ribs.
Grill over medium coals about 10 minutes on each side, brushing often with sauce till well coated.
(If ribs are chilled before grilling, cook 15 to 18 minutes on each side.)
