Country Style Cabbage Recipe
Ingredients
1 large head cabbage (about 2 pounds)
2 tablespoons water
3/4 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
Directions
1. Clean and trim the cabbage. Cut the cabbage into quarters, remove the core, and cut each quarter crosswise into 1-inch pieces.
2. Place the water in the bottom of a large skillet or a Dutch oven, and add the cabbage, bouillon granules, and pepper. Cover and cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, for about 15 minutes, or until the cabbage is wilted and tender.
