1 can (14 1/2 ounces) DEL MONTEĀ® Original Recipe Stewed Tomatoes
 
1 can (14 ounces) low salt chicken broth
 
3 ounces uncooked linguine
 
2 teaspoons low sodium soy sauce
 
1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons minced ginger root or 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
 
1/4 pound sirloin steak, cut crosswise into thin strips
 
5 green onions, cut into thin 1 inch slivers
 
4 ounces firm tofu, cut into small cubes
 
Ground black pepper (optional)
 
Additional soy sauce (optional)

Directions

In large saucepan, combine tomatoes with juice, broth, pasta, 2 teaspoons soy sauce and ginger with 1 3/4 cups water; bring to a boil.
Cook, uncovered, over medium-high heat 5 minutes.
Add meat, green onions and tofu; cook 4 minutes or until pasta is tender.
Season to taste with pepper and additional soy sauce, if desired.
