Country Dinner Recipe
Ingredients
| Pork shoulder | 1 1 1/2 pound, smoked | |
| Sauerkraut | 1 16 Ounce, drained | |
| Apple Juice | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Bay leaf | 1 Large | |
| Potatoes | 6 Medium, peeled | |
| Onions | 6 Small | |
| Carrots | 6 Small, quartered |
Directions
Place the pork shoulder roll in a 5-quart Dutch oven; add drained sauerkraut, apple juice, and bay leaf.
Cover; simmer 1 hour.
Add the potatoes, onions, and carrots.
Simmer, covered, till tender, about 1 hour more.
Remove meat and vegetables to warm serving platter.
