Country Corn Recipe
Summary
Main IngredientVegetable
Ingredients
6 medium-sized ears corn with husks
Water
4 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
Directions
1. Prepare outdoor grill for barbecuing.
2. Meanwhile, carefully pull back husks half way from each ear of corn; remove silk; rewrap corn with husks. In 6-quart saucepot, place corn with husks and enough cold water to cover them; let soak until coals are ready (soaking keeps corn moist and tender for grilling). In small metal-handled saucepan, mix butter or margarine, honey, and seasoned salt.
3. Remove corn from water; place corn on grill over medium heat. Cook about 30 minutes, turning frequently, until corn is tender. Meanwhile, melt butter mixture in saucepan on grill.
