Directions

Combine flour, baking powder and salt; stir in can- died fruits and cherries.
Set aside.
Combine butter and sugar in electric mixer bowl; beat with mixer until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Blend in lemon rind and cottage cheese.
Add fruit mixture; stir just until dry ingredients are moistened.
Spoon into greased 9x5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until bread tests done.
Cool in pan for 10 minutes; remove from pan.
Cool on wire rack.
