Cottage Cheese Prune Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| Maraschino cherries | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| 2 c.small curd cottage cheese, sieved | ||
| 1 c.sour cream | ||
| Confectioner’s sugar | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 3/4 Teaspoon | |
| 1 c.drained pineapple chunks | ||
| 1 c.cooked chopped prunes | ||
| 1 Ige. banana sliced | ||
| 1/2 c.chopped blanched almonds | ||
Directions
Drain cherries, reserving 2 tablespoons juice.
Combine all ingredients except sour cream and cherry juice.
Pour into trays that have been rinsed in cold water.
Freeze.
Let stand at room temperature for a few minutes before serving.
Serve with a mixture of sour cream and cherry juice.
