Cottage Cheese Csusza Recipe
Ingredients
1 lb. flour
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 lb. cottage cheese
1 1/2 gill sour cream
3 1/2 oz. bacon
1 oz. lard
Directions
Make a stiff pasta of the flour with the eggs, some water and salt.
Let it stand for a while and then roll out quite thin.
Tear into pieces about the size of a penny with forefinger and thumb, and scatter over the rolling board to prevent sticking together.
Drop pieces into boiling salt water to which a tea spoonful lard has been added.
When they rise to the surface, rinse in cold water and drain.
