1) Preheat the oven to 450F

2) In a bowl, mix the egg, milk and cottage cheese well

4) Cook over a low flame till it reaches a mush like consistency
5) In ½ cup of warm water, dissolve the yeast
6) In the cornmeal mixture tip in the sugar, shortening, salt, eggs, yeast and the flour
7) Blend the mixture till nice and smooth
8) Onto a floured board, turn out the mixture and knead for about 8-10 minutes
9) In a greased bowl place the dough to rise
10) Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough
11) Using cookie cutters, cut the dough and place on a greased cookie sheet to rise
12) Bake at 350F for 20 minutes

13) Serve warm
