Corsican Anchoiade Recipe
In my opinion to call yourself a chef one must have personal recipe of Corsican Anchoaide, just like I do. The Canadian people couldn't have come up with a better dish than this Corsican Anchoaide, specially when it comes to culinary creativity. Corsican Anchoaide makes a yummy Side Dish. Was it you or the fragrance of Corsican Anchoaide that you are cooking that has dragged me to the kitchen?, were my husband's words.
Ingredients
1/2 cup fancy figs, packed
2 anchovies, drained well
2 teaspoons oil-and-vinegar dressing, Orange juice, Garlic powder
6 slices light-rye snack bread, Sliced green onion
Directions
Mince figs and anchovies, or chop fine.
Moisten with oil-and-vinegar dressing and orange juice.
Flavor with a little garlic powder.
Spread on thin slices of snack bread.
Sprinkle with onion.
For hors d'oeuvres, garnish with rolled anchovy fillets, and cut each slice in half.
Makes 12.
