Cornmeal-Walnut Bran Muffins Recipe

This is a kick ass recipe for Cornmeal-walnut Bran Muffins which will knockout anyone who eats it. Excuse my French please. This Cornmeal-walnut Bran Muffins is a perfect Dessert. Is there a higher crime than reading about this Cornmeal-walnut Bran Muffins and not trying it out?

Ingredients

 
1 Cup Milk
 
1/2 Cup Bran
 
1 Egg
 
1/4 Cup Unsalted Butter
 
3 Tbsp. Dark Brown Sugar
 
1 Cup All-Purpose Flour
 
1/2 Cup Cornmeal
 
1/2 Cup to asted Walnuts, Coarsely Chopped
 
2 Tsp. Baking Powder
 
1/2 Tsp. Salt
 
1 Tsp. Walnut Oil (Optional)

Directions

Combine milk and bran in medium bowl and let stand at room temperature overnight or at least eight hours.
Stir in egg and melted butter.
Fold in dry ingredients which have been well blended, stirring only until dry ingredients are moistened.
Grease muffin tins with walnut oil.
Spoon batter into muffin tins and bake until brown.
Let cool seven minutes before serving.
Bake at 400 degrees 20 to 25 minutes
