Directions

GETTING READY
1. Heat the oven to 425°F; spray a coat of cooking spray over a cookie sheet

MAKING
2. In a bowl, mix together flour, cornmeal, cheese, baking powder and soda, salt and sage and cut in butter to blend it into a coarse rcumb-like consistency
3. Stir in just enough buttermilk to moisten and knead the dough gently in a floured surface, place on a cookie sheet, pat into a 6 1/2" round and cut into eight unseparated wedges
4. Bake it for twenty five minutes until golden and allow to cool for five minutes befiore cutting into wedges

SERVING
5. Serve warm
