Cornmeal Dumplings Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 cup water-ground cornmeal | ||
| Pancake flour | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Water | ||
Directions
Mix ingredients, using only enough cold water so mixture can be molded in hand.
Pat into flat round cakes about 2 inches in diameter, 1/2 inch thick.
Drop into pot on top of ham hocks and vegetables.
Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
