| CORNISH HENS | ||
| 4 (24 oz.) Cornish game hens | ||
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| 1/4 cup apple jelly | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Preheat oven in Convection Bake to 375°F (*350°F).
Melt 3 tablespoons margarine in large skillet. Add onions and apple; cook and stir until tender. Stir in all remaining stuffing ingredients.
Remove and discard neck and giblets from game hens. Split each game hen in half. Rinse game hens with cold water; pat dry. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Spread stuffing in ungreased 15" x 10" x 1" baking pan. Place game hens, skin side up, over stuffing.
Melt jelly with 2 tablespoons margarine over low heat. Brush over game hens.
Convection Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until game hens are fork-tender and juices run clear.
