Cornflake Meringues Recipe

Ingredients

 
2 egg whites
 
1 doz. glace cherries chopped
 
2 1/2 oz. chopped walnuts
 
2 oz. cornflakes
 
4 oz. sugar
 
Pinch of salt

Directions

Beat the egg whites and salt until stiff.
Fold in the other ingredients and place in spoonfuls on well greased trays.
Bake until pale brown and firm, but be careful not to brown them too much, or the flavour will be spoiled.
