Cornbread Recipe
I got to try out this Cornbread at my friend's place. My GOD, It was simply mind blowing! Get all set to serve Cornbread as a Breakfast today. Was it you or the fragrance of Cornbread that you are cooking that has dragged me to the kitchen?, were my husband's words.
Ingredients
2 cups yellow cornmeal
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 (8-ounce) cartons plain low-fat yogurt
2 eggs, beaten
Vegetable cooking spray
Directions
Combine first 4 ingredients in a medium bowl, stirring until well blended.
Add yogurt and eggs, stir just until mixed.
Coat a 9-inch square baking pan with cooking spray, place pan in oven at 400° for 2 minutes.
Remove from oven, and immediately pour batter into pan; bake at 400° for 20 minutes.
