Ingredients

 
6 tsp butter
 
1 large onion, chopped
 
1 cup celery with tops, chopped
 
1 tsp thyme
 
1 tsp sage
 
1 tsp salt
 
1 tsp pepper
 
6 cup cornhread crumbs

Directions

Melt butter in medium saucepan.
Add onion, celery, thyme, sage, salt, and pepper.
Saute over low heat for 3 to 4 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Add cornbread crumbs; toss to mix.
Add water to moisten to stuffing consistency.
