Country Style Cornbread Dressing Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), finley chopped | |
| Bell pepper | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), finely chopped | |
| Celery | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), finley chopped | |
| 1/3 cup oleo or butter | ||
| 8 cups crumbled cornbread | ||
| Hard-boiled eggs | 6 , hardboiled | |
| Cream of chicken soup | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Chicken broth | 2 Can (10oz) | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Saute onions, green pepper and celery in oleo until tender.
Combine with crumbled cornbread.
Add hard-boiled eggs, undiluted chicken soup and chicken broth.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Mix lightly.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees in buttered shallow casserole until light brown and crusty on top.
Serves 8.
