Cornbread Recipe
If Cornbread were to be described in a few words, they are heavenly, superb and outstanding. I am certain both of us will concur that this Cornbread is simply scrumptious.

1 cupcornmeal
1 cup flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/3 cup oil, soft butter or shortening
1 cup milk
1 egg
Directions
Combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder and salt in mixing bowl.
Add oil.
Beat milk and egg together; mix with dry ingredients.
Pour into 6 cup plastic ring mold.
Microwave (high) 4-5 minutes, rotating 1/4 turn halfway through cooking.
Rest 5 minutes
