Corn Soup Recipe
Ingredients
1/4 pound raw pork
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons minced onions
1 minced garlic clove
1 teaspoon minced ginger root
6 cups chicken broth or boiling water
1 1/2 cups corn kernels, fresh, frozen, or canned
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon Ac'cent
2 eggs
2 thinly sliced scallions
Directions
Trim the pork of all fat and mince the pork.
Toss with the soy sauce, cornstarch, sugar, pepper, and 1 tablespoon oil.
Heat the remaining oil in a saucepan, saute the onions, garlic and ginger in it for 1 minute.
Stir in the broth or water and bring to a boil.
Add the pork mixture, corn, salt, and Accent.
Cover and cook over low heat 15 minutes.
Beat the eggs well and stir in the scallions.
Mix into the soup until set.
