Corn Meal Cheese Straws Recipe
Ingredients
| Cornmeal | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Flour | 1 | |
| Salt | 1 | |
| Butter | 1⁄2 | |
| Grated cheese | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Milk | 4 Tablespoon |
Directions
Sift meal, flour and salt; cut in butter.
Stir in cheese.
Add enough milk to combine mix ture; knead gently.
Roll to 1/8 inch thickness; cut into strips or shapes.
Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes or until delicately browned.
NOTE: One fourth teaspoon ground red pepper and more cheese may be added for more spice.
