Corn Chowder Recipe
Make Corn Chowder! No other activity will relax you as much as this does. If you have a lot of Pork on hand then you know its time to make some Corn Chowder. There is not a single month when I don't serve this yummy Side Dish! Trust me, once you taste this Corn Chowder you are bound to prepare it again!
Ingredients
Salt pork- 3 slices
Medium onion- 1, sliced
Medium potatoes- 4, sliced
Water- 2 cups
Large soda crackers- 6
Milk- 2 cups
Corn, fresh - 2 cups, cooked or canned
Salt- 1 teaspoon
Pepper- 1/4 teaspoon
Directions
GETTING READY
1.Start by cutting the salt pork into cubes
MAKING
2.In a large saucepan, place the pork cubes and brown it
3.Now add onion to the pan, and cook until tender and lightly browned
4.Also add potatoes and pour water to the pan and cook until the potatoes get tender
5.In a bowl, pour milk and place the crackers, let them soak properly
6.Add corn, salt, pepper and soaked crackers to the cooked potato mixture
7.Keep boiling till the mixture is heated properly

8.Serve with green salads
