Corn Soup Recipe

I found out a great way to use Vegetable by making some delicious Corn Soup. Even though Corn Soup is an Appetizer I relish it any time of the day. Ingredients

 
1 onion, minced
 
1/4 c corn germ oil
 
1/4 t caraway seeds
 
1-1/2 c fresh corn, cut from 3-4 ears
 
1-1/2 t sea salt
 
1/2 c stock
 
1-1/2 c milk
 
1/2 c powdered milk
 
1 t wholewheat flour
 
3 t nutritional yeast
 
1/4 c walnuts, ground

Directions

Saute onion in corn germ oil until soft, then add caraway seeds, corn, salt, and stock.
Simmer for 10 minutes.
In another saucepan combine milk with powdered milk and yeast, heating to a boil Brown flour in a little butter and slowly add to milk mixture.
Combine the milk and corn mixtures, cooking 5 minutes longer.
Garnish with walnuts.
