Corn Pudding Recipe
This lovely corn pudding is a smooth and creamy pudding prepared with fresh corn. Prepared with added eggs, the corn pudding is flavored with butter and seasoned to taste. Served as a side, it is filling and delicious.
Ingredients
2 cups fresh corn or
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1 package frozen corn
2 tablespoons butter, melted
3 eggs
1/4 cup flour
2 cups light cream
1 teaspoon salt
Directions
Cut corn from the cob or thaw the frozen corn.
Beat eggs vigorously, then stir in corn and a mixture of flour, salt, and white pepper.
Add butter and cream.
Pour into a buttered 1 1/2 quart baking dish or casserole, place in a pan of hot water, and bake in a preheated 325° oven for 1 hour or until a knife tested in center comes out dry.
