Corn Meal Mush Recipe
Ingredients
| 1/2 cup corn meal, preferably enriched yellow meal | ||
| Boiling water | 2 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 3/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Sprinkle meal into rapidly boiling water, add salt, and heat, stirring, over very low heat about 1/2 hour until quite thick.
Ladle into bowls, top with pats of butter, and serve hot for breakfast.
