Corn Meal Muffins Recipe
Ingredients
| Corn meal | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Flour | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 4 teaspoons Royal Baking Powder | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Shortening | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Egg | 1 | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
MAKING
2. Sieve in flour with cornmeal, baking powder, sugar and salt. Add melted shortening, beaten eggs and milk to the mixture and mix well.
3. Take muffin tins, grease them and fill half of each of the muffin tin with the muffin mixture and bake for 35 minutes.
SERVING
4. Serve warm.
