Corn Doggies Recipe

Ingredients
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can (8 oz.) cream-style corn
1/2 cup milk
1 egg, beaten
1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
3/4 cup yellow cornmeal
3/4 cup flour
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
4 to 5 frankfurters, cut crosswise in thirds
Directions
Combine butter and onion in glass bowl.
Cook at HIGH 2 1/2 minutes; stir once.
Stir in corn, milk, egg and hot pepper sauce until smooth.
Add cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and mustard.
Place frankfurter pieces in spoke fashion in greased 2-quart ring mold.
Pour cornmeal mixture over frankfurters.
Cook at MEDIUM-LOW 13 to 16 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
