Ingredients

 Corn1 Cup(16 tbs), dried
 Bacon1/2 Cup(16 tbs), diced
 Onion1/4 Cup(16 tbs), diced
 Celery1/2 Cup(16 tbs), diced
 Green pepper1/4 Cup(16 tbs), diced
 Potato1 Cup(16 tbs), diced
 Water2 Cup(16 tbs)
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/4 Teaspoon
 Paprika1/4 Teaspoon
 Milk2 Cup(16 tbs)
 Chives

Directions

Rehydrate corn in 2 cups water.
Let stand about 2 hours.
Fry diced bacon until crisp.
Remove bacon; set aside.
Saute onions, celery and green pepper in bacon drippings until golden brown.
Add potatoes, water, salt, pepper and paprika; simmer about 45 minutes.
Add milk and rehydrated com and liquid.
Simmer gently for 30 minutes.
Do not boil.
Add cooked bacon.
Garnish with chopped chives.
