Corn Burger Skillet Recipe
Ingredients
| Vegetable oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Lean ground beef | 1 pound | |
| Onion | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic salt | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Black pepper - A dash | ||
| Whole kernel corn | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| American Cheese | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), pasteurized | |
Directions
MAKING
1) In a large frying pan, heat the oil.
2) Saute the onion and beef till the onion is soft. Drain the fat.
3) Add the corn and seasoning and stir well.
4) Heat the mixture thoroughly.
5) With grated cheese, top of the preparation and cover the pan.
6) Gently simmer for about 5 minutes, till the cheese has melted.
SERVING
7) Serve the Corn burger Skillet while it is still hot. Makes a good main course dish, and can also be served as a side dish or even an appetizer.
