1/3 cup low sodium chicken broth
 
1 cup fresh or frozen baby lima beans
 
1 cup fresh or frozen whole kernel corn
 
1/4 teaspoon sugar
 
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
 
2 tablespoons sour cream

Directions

In a small heavy saucepan, bring the chicken broth to a boil; add the lima beans and corn and reduce the heat to moderately low.
Cover and simmer for 8 minutes or until the vegetables are just tender.
Add the sugar and pepper and cook for 2 to 4 minutes or until almost all the liquid has evaporated.
Stir in the sour cream and transfer the mixture to a warm vegetable dish.
