Ingredients
10 oz. fresh or frozen
(1 1/4 cup) strawberries sliced, no sugar added
2 env. unflavored gelatin (2 tsp)
1 cup coarsely crushed ice
Directions
Put 1/2 cup (125 mL) strawberries into a blender and blend them for about 5 seconds.
Pour them into a small saucepan and heat over low heat until they begin to boil, then transfer them back into the blender.
Sprinkle the gelatin over the hot strawberries, cover, and blend for about 30 seconds more.
Add the crushed ice and blend at the lowest speed for 20 seconds.
Put the remaining strawberries in a bowl, add the pureed mixture, and mix together for about 30 seconds.
Pour into individual dishes or a serving bowl.
