Remove from heat; mix in nuts.
Add milk, vanilla and salt; combine thoroughly.
Chill about 30 minutes or until firm enough to handle.
Turn onto waxed paper and shape into a roll 12 inches long.
Wrap and chill.
Cream together butter, brown sugar, egg yolk and vanilla in mixing bowl.
Sift in flour, salt and baking powder; mix well.
Form into a firm ball; roll out on waxed paper to 12x9-inch rectangle.
Place roll of chocolate mixture along 12-inch edge.
Roll up to cover filling.
Wrap in waxed paper and chill until firm.
Preheat oven to 375°.
Place dough on board.
With electric knife cut dough into 1/2-inch slices.
Place on ungreased cooky sheets and bake 10 minutes.
