Cook Stove Vegetable Soup Recipe
Ingredients
| 8 ounces extra lean ground turkey or beef | ||
| 2 cups reduced-sodium tomato juice | ||
| Hot water | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 cup diced raw potatoes | ||
| Celery | 1 Cup (16 tbs), diced | |
| Onion | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Carrots | 1 Cup (16 tbs), diced | |
| Uncooked instant rice | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Black pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Lemon pepper | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
In a large skillet sprayed with butter-flavored cooking spray, brown meat.
Spray a slow cooker container with butter-flavored cooking spray.
In prepared container, combine browned meat, tomato juice, and water.
Add potatoes, celery, onion, carrots, uncooked rice, black pepper, and lemon pepper.
Mix well to combine.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours.
Mix well before serving.
