 4 qtr. ripe rose hip berries
 Onions2 Medium, sliced
 Garlic1 Clove (5gm)
 Water1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Brown sugar3/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 1/2 tablespoon each celery seed, whole allspice, mace, and cloves
 Stick cinnamon
 Vinegar1 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

Boil berries, onions, garlic, and water until soft.
Strain.
Add brown sugar to strained mixture.
Tie spices in a cheesecloth bag and add.
Bring to boiling; add vinegar and boil 10 minutes.
Ladle mixture into sterilized jars, seal, and store in a cool place.
