2 sweet peppers, sliced in half lengthwise, and seeded
 
1 cup (250 ml) carrots, cooked, sliced in rounds
 
1/2 cup (125 ml) turnip, cooked, diced
 
1/2 cup (125 ml) potato, cooked, diced
 
1/2 cup (125 ml) celery, diced
 
1/2 cup (125 ml) green peas, cooked
 
1/2 cup (125 ml) unpeeled apple, diced
 
2 small green onions, finely chopped
 
1 cup (250 ml) chicken (veal or ham), cooked, diced
 
Salt and pepper
 
1/4 cup (60 ml) mayonnaise

Directions

–  In a saucepan filled with lightly salted boiling water, blanch pepper halves for 5 minutes, then drain and refrigerate.
–  Meanwhile, in a salad bowl, mix together all other ingredients.
–  Spoon mixture into pepper halves.
