Cooked Herbed Cucumbers Recipe
Ingredients
8 cucumbers
4 tablespoons butter
Salt and fresh pepper to taste
2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill, mint, or parsley
Directions
Peel and cut cucumbers lengthwise.
Remove seeds with tip of spoon.
Cut into 2-inch pieces crosswise.
Parboil them for 4-5 minutes.
Drain them, refresh in cold water, and dry thoroughly.
Melt the butter in a fry pan.
Add cucumbers and toss them until heated through.
Season with salt, pepper, and chopped herb.
