Continental Chicken Strips Recipe
Ingredients
| Mayonnaise | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Spicy Brown Mustard - 2 tablespoons | ||
| Sugar | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Cider vinegar | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Boneless chicken breasts | 1 pound, skinned | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| All purpose flour | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Egg | 1 Large, beaten | |
| Breadcrumbs | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vegetable Shortening or Oil | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) Mix together the mayonnaise, mustard, sugar, vinegar till well mixed
2) Add the chili sauce
3) Cut the chicken into 2 1 inch strips
4) Season with salt
5) Into three shallow dishes, fill each with flour, egg and breadcrumbs
6) Coat the chicken pieces first with flour, into egg and roll into breadcrumbs and keep aside
7) Into a skillet, add shortening about 1/4 inch
8) Fry the strips till golden brown
9) Place onto absorbent paper towel to drain
10) Bake into a preheated oven of 250 F

11) Serve the chicken sprinkled with paprika and a mustard dip
