Ingredients

 
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
 
1/3 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
 
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
 
2 tablespoons imitation bacon bits, if desired
 
2 tablespoons chopped pimento
 
1 teaspoon instant minced onion
 
8 oz. can Pillsbury
 
Refrigerated
 
Buttermilk or Country
 
Style Biscuits

Directions

Preheat oven to 400°F In medium size saucepan, melt butter.
Add cheese, pepper, bacon bits, pimento and onion.
Separate dough into 10 biscuits; cut each biscuit into 4 pieces.
Drop a few biscuit quarters at a time unto cheese mixture while tossing lightly with forks.
Turn into well greased 8 inch round pan; distribute evenly.
Bake 18 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
Cool 5 minutes before removing from pan.
Serve warm or cold.
