Confetti Corn Bread Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 1/2 cups Corn Bread Mix or 1 14-ounce package corn bread mix | ||
| Minced onion | 1 Teaspoon, dried | |
| 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme, crashed | ||
| 2 slightly beaten eggs | ||
| Water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Pimiento | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Green chili peppers | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°.
In mixing bowl stir together dry Corn Bread Mix or packaged mix, onion, and thyme.
In small mixing bowl combine beaten eggs, water, pimiento, and green chili peppers; add all at once to dry ingredients, stirring just till moistened.
Turn batter into a well-greased 9x9x2-inch baking pan.
Bake in 400° oven 20 to 25 minutes or till golden.
Cut into squares.
